Unemployment Benefit
If you do not already have a job upon graduation, you may be entitled to the unemployment benefit.
There are different rules regarding the entitlement to unemployment benefit; this depends on your country of origin, your work history in Denmark, etc.
We recommend that you contact one of the unions or unemployment funds and get advice on your current situation. Make sure to contact these funds before you graduate as there are different rules for graduates. The Careers Centre can assist you in getting in contact with unions and unemployment funds, or you can just check out the links below.
If you meet the requirements for enrolling in a fund, be assured that signing up is easy and does not involve much paperwork. Everything is usually done online. Membership fees are generally around 400 kr. per month, but some is free as long as you are studying.
